This year is ending with a bang. First, the USDOL salary minimum rule for exempt employees was enjoined by a federal court on a nationwide basis. Second, the Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting requirements of the Corporate Transparency Act were enjoined by a federal court, resurrected by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and then FinCEN moved the deadline to report back to January 13, 2025. Never a dull moment!

Prediction: Don't look for the salary minimum rule to be revived. However, anything can happen. Have a great New Year!
